Experience:
I have worked in various biomedical research laboratories for over 25 years. I have always had a passion for science and laboratory work suited my perfectionist tendencies. During the time I managed and worked in several top-rated immunology research laboratories, I was often called upon to edit various manuscripts, book chapters and grants written by both native and non-native English speakers. I found the process of polishing these documents very rewarding. After retirement from the University of California, San Diego, I realized that I could continue to provide scientific and medical editing services as a freelance editor, with an emphasis in helping those for whom English is a second language.
